THE ADVENTURES OF PETER RABBIT AND FRIENDS
Premiere production at Youth Theatre Northwest, March 2-18, 2012
Peter Rabbit is in a lot of trouble. While his three perfect sisters pick berries, Peter is lost in McGregor’s garden, where his own father was captured and baked into a pie. Mom is not going to be happy about this one. Meanwhile, his sister Flopsy seeks excitement and begs him to take her to the garden next time. Enter Benjamin Bunny, friend and fellow trouble-maker, for a series of adventures that will test the bunnies’ speed, ingenuity, and heart. Will Peter ever become the kind of bunny that would make his parents proud? This story is an adaptation of the classic Beatrix Potter stories for a new generation of Peter Rabbit fans. More information is here.
Leaving IKEA is a collaboration with David A. Miller, Dano Madden, and The Artful Conspirators. It will be produced in June 2012 at the Brooklyn Lyceum. For more information, visit the website.
LEAVING IKEA: Canto Two Bethany and Dan are expecting to buy a crib from a certain Swedish, assemble-it-yourself furniture store. They aren’t expecting to be forced to relive their first date, question their fitness for parenthood, or face down a baby-stealing gnome. Will they be able to put all the parts back together at home, and will they ever get there? Bring your tiny pencil and follow the arrows to a comedy about the relationship inferno that is IKEA.

Peter and Alice was part of the Open Rehearsal Series produced by The Artful Conspirators on July 30. Thanks to all who participated!
A teenaged poet causes a rift in the literary space-time continuum, causing an unsuspecting Alice Liddell to wash up on the shores of Neverland. When Alice matures by way of a magic mushroom, Peter Pan is enticed and Wendy is jealous. As Wendy and Alice vie for Peter’s affection, one-handed Tango master Captain Hook captures Tiger Lily, a Native girl who proves that first impressions can be deceiving. A diligent librarian endeavors to separate Peter and Alice, but their stories are growing more tangled by the minute. Stir in some lost boys, a white rabbit, a naughty fairy, and a few swords, and you may find yourself in hot pot of flying pepper soup. Who gets Peter? Who wins the swordfight? And is anyone going to grow up already?
